As a specialized trade partner and distributor, we are the link between the manufacturer - supplier and the end users. Our worldwide controlled production with partner manufacturers enables us to provide an extensive and high quality assortment for everyone. In our furniture store "Der Holzwurm" on the premises of Deckerdorf we offer our customers the unique opportunity to be inspired by furnishing ideas. As the person responsible for the further development of the company, the stationary shopping experience is to be reflected in the online world.

Challenge What were the project goals?

The goal of the cooperation with Software Development Solution is to future-proof our furniture store in the increasing trend of globalization and digitalization. For this purpose, 2 overriding goals are to be achieved. On the one hand, internal company processes are to be digitalized and efficiently set up. For this purpose, Software Development Solution is developing a new control room management system in order to be able to flexibly cover all future requirements. Furthermore, the appropriate web presence is to be created in order to achieve good growth opportunities in the e-commerce sector.

Simon Greussing, Managing Director of Bee Green World, brought the company Software Development Solution to our attention. After intensive discussions with Mr. Kastrati as well as the development team and examination of the project, we quickly came to the decision to implement our project with Software Development Solution. I had a good gut feeling about the decision and so far Software Development Solution has not disappointed me. The longer we work together, the more intensive and efficient the cooperation becomes.

Please describe the provider's project approach.

At the start of the project, we defined various interim goals. For this purpose, a milestone plan was drawn up, which implementations were needed and what time frame the corresponding programming required. As part of the project, a stationary planning program was integrated into the website in order to make the configuration available online as well. Furthermore, 3D models of furniture have been modulated to include them on the website. In addition, these pieces of furniture can also be placed directly with the camera at any desired location through the argument reality capability. Another highlight is the new own furniture configurator from Software Development Solution. The development of a store system with many functions is also part of the task. In cooperation with Software Development Solution we have set up the complete new company structures.

Results What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

In this punk I would briefly consult again how we write it in the recession. There is a lot to present, but not everything is ready yet. Possibly we will build a landing page for this, by presenting that for the recession evtuell instead of just the website.

Did they deliver on time? How did they respond to your needs?

I am very satisfied with the cooperation with Mr. Kastrati as well as the whole development team. The development team communicated progress regularly. In case of project delays caused by lack of information, dependence on third parties as well as underestimated workload were communicated in time so that appropriate improvised measures could be initiated if necessary.

What impressed you the most about the collaboration?

The development team convinced me with their skills. During the implementation of the project, new ideas and new challenges arose again and again. The team of Mr. Kastrati impressed me again and again, how from an idea or thought a technical implementation was developed.

What areas can the service provider improve upon?

Learning by doing. We have introduced an open feedback culture so that discrepancies can be resolved directly to avoid unnecessary delays in the course of the project. This means that upcoming problems are solved as quickly as possible, so that they may not arise in the first place. I can only recommend to continue this with other partners as well. Communication is the key to success.

I am the managing director of Green Bee World. We use the possibilities of the digital transformation and make houses tangible even before the first stone is laid. Our innovative virtual reality technology creates a modern and environmentally friendly approach to traditional home building: individual design ideas, a photo-realistic 3D tour and virtual test living. In our Bee Green World, you'll find a variety of model homes from which you can create a digital prototype of your new dream home - all from the comfort of your couch. This type of house construction is particularly energy-efficient and follows neo-ecological criteria.

We wanted to provide our customers with an intense living experience by allowing them to experience and interact with their dream homes virtually before they are built. We wanted to achieve this goal by developing virtual and customizable homes, which is why we hired Software Development Solution as our implementation partner to create the virtual homes.

I already knew Mr. Kastrati before we started working together on this project and recognized great synergy effects that would result from our project and his knowledge. For this reason, we got into conversation and this is how the exciting project came about.

Please describe the provider's project approach.

At the beginning, we agreed to realize a prototype to find out as soon as possible whether they can satisfactorily implement our project. The prototype was based on a trial apartment. We were totally enthusiastic about the developed prototype solution and subsequently placed the big order with them. They then first developed a small virtual world with one house and gradually added more and more functions.

How many project team members were involved? What roles did they have in the project?

The project team of Software Development Solution consists of 3 developers. Two implement the virtual worlds and houses and one develops the corresponding website for them.

Results What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

On the website https://bee-vr-projects.com/ you can find some of the implemented solutions in the form of videos, animations, 360° tour, virtual and augmented reality. There you can, for example, scan QR codes of products with your smartphone camera and virtually experience these products with the innovative world of augmented reality. In the next two weeks, we will start with the corresponding B2B section of the platform. Interested investors in the virtual home building world were enthusiastic about the implementation as soon as they put on the VR glasses.

Did they deliver on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Yes definitely. So far, they have delivered flawlessly and very punctually. Often, they have even finished the milestones earlier than planned. Of course, there have been delays from time to time when problems have arisen. But these have always been within the scope and to our satisfaction, so we can't complain about them.

What impressed you the most about the collaboration?

The programming itself, what they got up to, impressed us a lot. For example, the solutions from other VR companies are such that you always have to use the VR glasses in conjunction with a PC or laptop to include the processing power from an external computer. However, we had the requirement that it must work only on the VR glasses (stand-alone). They managed to do that in very good quality. I'm totally thrilled with the collaboration. It makes them stand out that they believe in the project just as much as we do and support us energetically with a lot of effort. We are very grateful for that. Because of our satisfaction, we continue to work with Software Development Solution and this has become a continuous project.

What areas can the service provider improve upon?

Communication could be optimized. Not in relation to Mr. Kastrati himself, but rather in relation to the team. Every now and then it happened that changes were implemented without me being informed in advance.
