About Simone Rigoni
I’m Italian, and I currently make my home in the Netherlands. In 2017, I earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering—specialized in Embedded and Control Systems—at the University of Pavia. Even though my academic foundation was built around embedded technologies and I have a particular affinity for C, I chose to move into data engineering. I did that by concentrating on Python and SQL. After working as a Technical Consultant and later as a Data Engineer across several organizations, I made the jump to independent work in 2022. On my site, simonerigoni.net, as well as on Medium and Blogspot, I publish articles about my personal projects, software engineering, and topics in data engineering and data science.
