Implementation: They use AWS with a few repositories on GitLab.com for each app, and one of them was a monorepo. We did the following: - Created two AWS EC2 instances (for the dev and staging environments). - Used two main dependencies: an RDB and AWS Docker Registry. - Configured docker-ce to work via API using certificates for security. - Created Docker images and docker-compose files for each application. - Configured CI/CD with GitLab CI for each microservice, including in the context of a monorepo. - Created a separate repository for nginx-proxy with Let’s Encrypt for deployments with different requirements, such as proxy parameters, redirects, etc. - All apps communicate over a dedicated network. This was done to enable nginx-proxy to work and to secure the client’s apps. - Created documentation for the client’s developers.
