SBE's support is unfortunately of a very poor standard. Almost no one can be reached by phone - you hang on hold for minutes without anything happening or someone picking up. Even written inquiries by email or ticket often go unanswered and there is hardly any feedback. Since the introduction of LogoDIDACT 4.0, the situation has deteriorated significantly. Support has deteriorated massively and the documentation is incomplete and unhelpful. LogoDIDACT 4.0 appears unfinished overall, and support for the previous version 2.0 was discontinued at very short notice. It is particularly problematic that version 2.0 must first be installed for a new installation in order to subsequently update to 4.0 - a direct installer is still not available. The technical structure has also worsened with 4.0: the substructure appears even more complex and many configurations still have to be made directly in the server shell/CLI. Competing products have long offered convenient WebUIs that are much easier to use - something that is urgently needed, especially in the school environment. It is also worth mentioning that SBE partners do not have any better experiences in direct contact with SBE - the same problems occur there too. My conclusion: the support is not acceptable, the software seems immature and the way it works does not meet the requirements of the education sector. It is therefore high time to look for alternatives.
