They recently called me offering a job role and booked in for meeting twice and didn't turn up. Kinda felt like scam

After reviewing our consultant’s correspondence with you, it seems they spoke with you just a few days ago about a couple of opportunities, sent you job descriptions and agreed to follow up after you had reviewed them but did not make specific arrangements for any meetings. We can also see that you sent your CV to us on Monday and then a follow up email a few hours later before leaving this review on Tuesday. We apologise for the misunderstanding and that the consultant was not quicker to respond to your emails, however we do not feel our interactions are fairly or accurately reflected in your review.

They care more about linkedin invites than about the candidate and their clients. After an initial call i was sent a linkedin invite to my linkedin profile which is ivet 10 yrs out if date and n a follow up call i was asked why i didnt accept their linkedin request. They have also goine completely silent on all my applications, never respond to my emails and dont return calls. The recruitment indistry in the uk is unregulated and companies are taking advantage of this. I keeo getting calls for jobs that do not match my cv.

Due to the anonymity of your review, we do not have any details on your specific case to understand why you are receiving lots of calls about unsuitable positions yet not getting a response to your job applications. However, generally speaking, a LinkedIn profile update may help you to reduce the volume of calls you receive from us (and other recruiters you refer to) about unsuitable positions going forward.
