MTRIX advertises “Secure Multi-Factor Authentication,” with consulting and support all in one. It’s a shame, though, that data privacy and consent are being left by the wayside in their own marketing. Today I received an unsolicited promotional email—and now I’m apparently also expected to actively unsubscribe myself! In other words: an unrequested opt-in instead of a legally sound opt-in. If you sell professional IT security, you’d think you’d lead by example when it comes to handling sensitive data and email distribution lists. Unfortunately, that doesn’t inspire confidence. I’ve marked their address as spam.

We ordered a YubiKey from MTRIX. The communication was very straightforward, and our first offer came right away. We did have to ask once whether our order had already gone through in the system, but after that everything moved quickly. They also kept their agreement regarding when the order would arrive. We ordered a device from Mtrix, which we could not have ordered by express as standard. Processing and delivery would have taken 1-1.5 weeks. However, we needed the device the next working day. On a Friday afternoon, the staff at Mtrix were prepared a) to make express delivery possible for us and b) to process our order directly. Thank you very much for this, you have solved a problem for us!
