Founded in 1932, Metalarte has long been a trailblazer in lighting, keeping innovation and fresh creative thinking at the center of its work for over half a century. During the 1960s and 1970s, the company overhauled its catalog and began working with outside designers. In the 1980s and 1990s, it brought in a new wave of professionals while expanding its business beyond national borders. Today, the company belongs to the Luxiona Group, alongside the Troll and Sagelux brands, and it keeps strengthening its partnerships so that the designers associated with Metalarte form a wide-ranging roster that strongly reflects the most outstanding creativity of the present moment: George W.
