We work in the public sector for the State of Berlin in the field of health promotion and prevention.

The purpose of the website is to promote and provide a transparent overview of physical activity opportunities in Berlin. To make this information as clear and easy to navigate as possible, a dynamic site featuring an activity calendar and map was developed, which uses various search functions to display all available physical activity opportunities.

Makandra fully met the requirements of the request for proposals, submitted a clear and detailed proposal for service delivery, and was therefore awarded the contract.

Our collaboration has always been characterized by open communication and a willingness to help. Coordination takes place via email or during regular meetings. Whenever changes were made to the website, they were first released on a staging platform so that the relevant departments in the State of Berlin could review them. Requested revisions were implemented quickly and without any issues.

There was an employee who always served as the point of contact and developer for the website design.

The success of the website can be attributed to the fact that it is unique in Berlin. There is currently no other site that lists all free exercise programs in every district, complete with a map and calendar.

Deadlines were met, and close consultation took place whenever changes to the schedule arose.

MT Aerospace is a leading global aerospace company specializing in lightweight structures made of metal and composite materials. As Digital Transformation Manager, I am responsible for the digitization and automation of production-related processes within the company. My responsibilities include establishing a robust AI infrastructure and overseeing the company’s own AI use cases.

The goal of the project was to pre-populate recurring documentation templates with a changing set of data. The requirements included flexible templates, various input types, and a variable layout—all within the constraints of an air-gapped infrastructure.

The service provider submitted a compelling proposal for an AI MVP in response to our request for proposals. This allowed us to test our idea cost-effectively, and we subsequently moved directly into further developing the MVP as part of a larger project.

The collaboration involves daily check-ins to discuss project progress, test results, and requirements for further development. Applications are released for further testing in iterative cycles.

On our end, we have a product owner, IT specialists, and users from the business unit. On the service provider’s side, we are supported by a project manager and developers.

Depending on the project, we can sometimes achieve double-digit percentage savings by replacing manual searches for values with the review of pre-filled templates.

The service provider responded very flexibly to frequently changing requirements and also helped us establish a predictable requirements management process.

When developing the software, the provider doesn't just do the bare minimum—they're always willing to go the extra mile. Automated testing, UX enhancements, and suggestions for improvement are rarely seen on this scale.

Our collaboration with the service provider has been more than satisfactory in every respect. The quality and speed of the results speak for themselves.
