About imagefilmwien.at
imagefilmwien.at is part of Frame de la Frame, a film production team based in Vienna’s Josefstadt district. Here, we bring together everything businesses need to present themselves through video: corporate films for websites and sales, company films, employer branding and recruitment videos, product films, and matching short-form edits for social media. To make sure your budget is clear from the outset, we offer three fixed-price packages: Essential for €1,900, Business for €2,900, and Signature for €4,900, all excluding VAT. Anything beyond that is quoted individually in advance. Allow three to six weeks from commissioning to delivery, with the same point of contact from the first call through final approval. We shoot with RED and Sony cameras, and color grading is done in DaVinci Resolve Studio. Alongside the main film, we also deliver landscape, portrait, and square edits, so a single shoot can reach as many channels as possible. Maximilian Wunderlich is responsible for creative direction and cinematography, while Felix Reichel handles planning and production. We founded Frame de la Frame in 2023; the Austrian Chamber of Commerce has certified the company with the CAFP seal, short for Certified Austrian Film Producer. Our work includes a quiz-style employer video for BESTSELLER, produced together with aime; a restaurant film for Unkai; a seasonal film for Lederleitner; and the interview series “Heldinnen in Serie” for the Austrian Business Agency.

We booked the video production Frame de la Frame for the production of a highend Commercial for an international brand. The crew was very professional, everything was planned right in time and the video was just perfect. We did droneshots in Vienna, too. Frame de la Frame handled all the permissions and everything happened very smooth. Afterwards the editing and colorgrading put the material to another level. We are so happy and are looking forward to watch the final Spot on TV. If you search for an videoproduction in Vienna or Austria, we would highly recommend Frame de la Frame.

Animated explainer videos - methods toolkit
Case Study by imagefilmwien.at
Description
Co-funded by the European Union and Austria’s Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy, we produced two films for SI Plus, a competence center for social innovation. The first is a brand film explaining what the term means; the second launches a learning series on the center’s methods toolkit. Both feature real people on camera and a paper-collage aesthetic that gives the subject a distinctive, warm feel.
Challenge
Social innovation is a term many people have heard without knowing exactly what it means. You can’t touch it or photograph it, and while an explainer video with graphics can convey facts, it rarely sticks in people’s minds. At the same time, a project jointly funded by Brussels and Vienna comes with high expectations: every statement must be accurate while still reaching a broad audience. The toolkit brought a second challenge: presenting workshop methods in a way that people with no prior knowledge could understand and put into practice straight away.
Solution
A QR code we built ourselves out of LEGO bricks runs like a thread through all five phases. We handled the entire production around it: writing the scripts, organizing the cast, securing the location, sourcing props, and planning elaborate shots filmed through glass panels. Each phase had its own color, carried through from the lead actor’s shirt to the title. Paper collages, drawings, and animation complement the live-action footage and bring each method to life.
Results
All five episodes are built right into the method toolkit on siplus.at, alongside the description of each phase, and are also available on YouTube. The consistent color scheme, main character, and LEGO code make them feel like part of a cohesive series, while still allowing each episode to be used on its own in a workshop. The end credits of every episode feature the logos of the European Union and the ministry. For us, the series is proof that we can reliably support publicly funded clients throughout a multi-part project, from the first script to the fifth episode.
