Request sent with a short, simple presentation. Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships probably sent us an internal email by mistake, saying that he couldn't imagine we had enough budget for our project without even contacting us in advance. The tendency was probably to cancel. Really sad. Although we are "only" a medium-sized company, we would have been willing to make a corresponding investment. In response, I was asked to understand that due to the large number of inquiries, premature assumptions may have been made and that the statement was not personal. Professionalism also includes not simply making prejudiced assumptions.
