As an American IT company, we operated our own hosting platform with our own servers and storage systems on the premises of Cloud4You AG for our German and European customers. Cloud4You provided us with the necessary infrastructure such as Internet and energy. Unfortunately, discrepancies arose due to incorrect billing over the entire term. The resulting reactions and actions on the part of Cloud4You have massively jeopardized our company. We have taken legal action against Cloud4You and cannot recommend this service provider to others.
Background
As an American IT company, we operated our own hosting platform with our own servers and storage systems on the premises of Cloud4You AG for our German and European customers. Cloud4You provided us with the necessary infrastructure such as Internet and energy. Unfortunately, discrepancies arose due to incorrect billing over the entire term. The resulting reactions and actions on the part of Cloud4You have massively jeopardized our company. We have taken legal action against Cloud4You and cannot recommend this service provider to others.

Operation and support of virtual systems for SME customers and schools. Operation of PBX systems
Solution
The provider was known to us from previous projects and we had good experience with its technical expertise in the years 2020 to 2023.
The provider provided us with the necessary infrastructure for operation and also sold us some server systems.
The total number of project team members was 3-5. As the founder of our company, I took over the planning of our own platform and discussed the necessary resources with the provider.
Results
Within a very short time, we had a good influx of customers who used our services worldwide. The presence of our infrastructure in different countries was important.
All deadlines were met by us and the provider during the start-up phase. After commissioning, our systems were managed by us alone.
The professional expertise was the most important reason why we chose this provider.
We do not wish to provide any further information at this time, as we are currently involved in a legal dispute. i

from our point of view not recommended Technical knowledge ok business dealings dubious and unpredictable not trustworthy incorrectly calculated taxes over several years have not yet been fully corrected and repaid against better judgment. the company refused to offset credits, discontinued its services and refused to hand over our property. we had to instruct a lawyer to enforce our rights and claims. Update 05/2025 Cloud4You has still not corrected all invoices as originally promised. A refund of the overpaid VAT has also not yet taken place. It could therefore be assumed that Cloud4You does not have the necessary liquidity. We will keep a close eye on a possible delay in filing for insolvency.
