cineMars is an award-winning film production company with a focus on social impact and ecological & economic transformation. The focus is on projects in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In doing so, we are following our vision of helping to shape society with creative and high-quality media work.

Beyond filmmaking, cineMars wants to lead the way as a positive example for a social and green transformation of the media industry. As green consultants and trainers, we advise other production companies and organizations on the implementation of sustainable measures and the reduction of CO2e emissions.

It all began in 2015, when Matteo and Lars realized joint film projects alongside their education and merged their first names to form cineMars. Their great passion, ambition and shared vision of moving and inspiring people with their own images still unites them today.

We are proud and happy that we have been joined on this journey by wonderful people who share the same goal - to have a positive impact on society. In close and long-standing cooperation with partners from culture, politics or science, we advance socially relevant topics and create change together - also in social engagement outside of work. Respect, openness to the world and diversity are important values for each and every one of us.
