Description
Since its founding in 1849, the Reichsrat von Buhl winery has stood for fine Rieslings from Germany's best vineyards. Otto von Bismarck is said to have been enthusiastic about von Buhl's wines. But despite all tradition, von Buhl also keeps up with the times, and so borntocreate got the order for a redesign of logo and CI - including image film and new website with online store.
Solution
The coat of arms of the von Buhl family, which is based on the Palatinate lion, dates back to the 18th century and is still emblazoned on wine bottles today. Deriving a contemporary logo from this is a tightrope walk, which was solved by borntocreate as shown on the left. The lion was simplified without distorting its majestic character, and the font also strikes a balance between old and modern. As a result, the logo as a whole radiates a timeless permanence.

As strong as the first overall impression was, serious problems with accessibility and reliability quickly became apparent. I had to call several times until I finally received the first callback. Okay, that was a bit messy, but let's wait and see. Finally, the first on-site meeting and the decision to work with this agency. First drafts for my project went very quickly, but were not very good. After I asked for rectification, the accessibility became increasingly worse. Numerous promises to call back via Whatsapp were not kept, sometimes there was no response at all for days and other agreements were not kept either. All in all, a shockingly bad experience with an agency that promises a lot, keeps little and behaves towards paying customers under all sow. Absolute disaster.
