With Aionda we have found a great partner for our (also future) IT projects! For a specific application, we urgently needed an experienced developer with in-depth knowledge of TypeScript, GitLab, React and PostgreSQL. I became aware of Aionda GmbH through the Safari App Extension of TrashMail.com. Being an avid developer for Apple platforms myself through the Apple Developer Program, I was very pleased that Aionda GmbH was one of the first to develop a native Safari App Extension for the TrashMail service. Due to the fact that I noticed a (non security critical!) bug while testing the application, I contacted Aionda GmbH for the first time. My email with the bug report was answered personally by the managing director Stephan Ferraro and he promised a quick bug fix, which was indeed published in the app store shortly after. This bug report resulted in a longer e-mail communication with the managing director, in which the common interest in modern software for Apple platforms became clear. Through this very friendly and informative email traffic, my interest in Aionda GmbH was aroused. At that time I was studying computer science in the 6th semester. An important part of the computer science studies is the six-month practical phase in an IT company. Due to my very positive experiences with Aionda GmbH up to that point, I wrote to the managing director again after some time and inquired whether Aionda GmbH offered positions for practical phases. The response was again very positive, so that I was able to complete the practical phase of my studies at Aionda GmbH. My task during this time was to develop a comprehensive iOS app for TrashMail.com. I was very grateful about this task, because it corresponded one hundred percent to my personal interests. The time at Aionda GmbH was thus not a stubborn working off of prescribed tasks, but the expansion of my knowledge in an area that interests me very much. My experiences during my time at Aionda GmbH have been consistently positive. Stephan Ferraro, the managing director, places a high degree of trust in his employees and grants them a lot of freedom, which makes working very pleasant and increases motivation enormously. Of course, (work) performance is also expected and has to be delivered. In my eyes, however, these were always very realistic expectations that can be achieved well with the appropriate motivation. What I would like to emphasize at this point is that personal interests (in my case, for example, development for Apple platforms) are extraordinarily encouraged at Aionda GmbH through the selection of appropriate projects. The principle "You should always learn something in the process" is definitely lived here.
