We are gretchen. And we love telling stories. That's why we've been producing videos and films for public institutions, national and international organizations and companies since 2009. And gretchen has one great love: the complex. Because we manage to present sophisticated content in an understandable - and aesthetically impressive - way.

We offer a wide range of moving image formats: Image films, explanatory videos, event documentaries, classic commercials, trailers, portrait films, short documentaries, animated films or live broadcasts - always tailored to the respective, mostly digital target group. And gretchen is a full-service production: we create moving images from the idea through production to the finished edited film. gretchen always means: teamwork. We currently have 15 producers, editors, directors and post-producers working for us.

We work closely with a strong network of freelance experts and talents - from directors, cameramen, sound designers and set designers to specialists in animated film. And, of course, we have state-of-the-art video equipment and experience in producing with drone cameras, 360° clips and virtual reality content.

We love to tell stories. So what could be more natural than to compare ourselves directly with Germany's most famous storyteller? Goethe. But because we are not at all as megalomaniacal as we sound, we chose Goethe's Gretchen as our namesake. It was under this name that we settled in Berlin - almost 200 years after Faust - and gathered the most creative and clever people here. There are currently 15 of us.

If we had existed back then, Goethe would have booked us. Because we can not only tell stories, we also realize them directly. From animated videos to commercials, our creatives, producers and post-producers deliver everything the creative heart desires. Drama like Goethe's? Only in our scripts. Instead, you get a lot of passion for film and a great team for a strong collaboration.
