Don’t use! Worst company ever, don’t pick up waste and then still try to charge you for it.

One star is generous, appalling customer experience.

Not good enough, it takes ages to get the quote and hire skip.

It took Reconomy over a month, with countless attempts, to complete a single full site clearance.

They continuously blamed the service provider, ignored requests for compensation, and attempted to charge me for collections during the period that hadn't been completed.

This is just the latest issue in around 6 months of back to back service failures. Reading other reviews, it appears this not uncommon. Don't waste your time.

I have been a customer of Reconomy Connect since they took over Click Waste, and unfortunately it has been nothing but problems from day one.

The service has been absolutely dreadful. We’ve experienced repeated missed bin collections, incorrect invoices, and overcharging through direct debits, with virtually no communication. To make matters worse, when they overcharge you, don’t expect a quick resolution, we’ve had to wait five months to receive a refund for money they took incorrectly.

If collections aren’t going ahead, they don’t bother to let you know, leaving bins overflowing for weeks. On some occasions, our bins have gone as long as three weeks without being emptied.

Whenever you do manage to get an explanation, the excuses are endless and frankly ridiculous. It’s always something different, the driver is sick, another driver is sick, the van has broken down, the driver has exceeded their driving hours, or the driver has got lost. While genuine issues can happen occasionally, these excuses are used so frequently that they have become impossible to take seriously.

Trying to get hold of anyone is equally frustrating. Calls are rarely returned, and getting issues resolved is almost impossible. Even after changing waste suppliers, Reconomy Connect still couldn’t organise collecting their own bins.

Without question, this is one of the most disorganised companies I’ve ever dealt with. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Reconomy Connect to think twice and look elsewhere.

Will not collect the skip, very happy to answer the phones for hire and taking my money twice.
Collection never happens they don’t answer your calls for collection, 10 calls now, no ring back as advised by Tom from Mangers Annie, Liz and Kyle.
Liz is the ruddiest manager I have ever had to deal with who talks over you and put the phone down.

Very expensive compared to other local companies. I paid £420 for an 8-yard skip when others charge much less. Collection was delayed and cancelled more than once, causing delays to my job. Polite when taking payment, but unhelpful when issues started. As a contractor, I would not use again or recommend.
