More than a year into our collaboration, I finally have both the perspective and the courage to share this experience. Where to start… At the outset, we were led to believe we were working with a “Gold” implementer, as they told us from the beginning. In reality, we later learned the project had been subcontracted to another provider—one that offers its services at much lower rates and, in our view, didn’t have the level of expertise we expected for our project. We paid over €30,000 to build our CRM. With hindsight, it now feels like the priorities weren’t aligned with the quality we were expecting. The CRM we received was unfinished, didn’t match our business, and was full of bugs. To this day, it’s still not usable as it is. Despite multiple follow-ups, we’ve received no responses to our emails about fixing the bugs—even though commitments had been made on that point. Throughout the assignment, we were under constant pressure to “finish” the CRM in just two and a half months. We understand now that this timeline was extremely ambitious given the complexity of the project. With hindsight, it gives the impression that the goal was to deliver quickly at the expense of quality. Paying more than €30,000 for a project carried out over such a short period, with a result that wasn’t even completed, feels difficult to accept today. What’s been hardest about this experience isn’t only the financial side, but also the human impact. This situation affected us deeply and had major consequences for both our business and our health. We’ve been working with another professional for a few months now, who confirmed that many parts would need to be fully redone to meet our needs. Unfortunately, that matches our initial impression: the work that was done wasn’t finished and wasn’t tailored to how we operate. Finally, the mismatch between the price of the service and the way the project was run—especially the subcontracting to profiles billed at much lower rates—only strengthens our confusion today about the value we received.

Bonjour Pauline, We take the time to respond to this review with care and precision, because several key points need to be clarified. Regarding the project timeline: it began in late April 2025 and ended in December 2025—so 8 months. A 2.5-month deadline had been mentioned at your request during our initial discussions. We clearly told you that this timeline was extremely ambitious given the scope of the project. You insisted on keeping that framework. We weren’t able to meet the deadline because you weren’t available to provide us with the information we needed to move the project forward. In the end, the project took longer because we (too often) had to wait for your feedback, your approvals, and your availability. We also repeatedly warned you about the risk of implementing too many automations, and the importance of following the processes to the letter if you want them to work. As a result, onboarding took more time than expected—because HubSpot is a structured tool that requires the client’s active involvement to progress. Regarding the work delivered: Gabriel did far more than what was initially agreed in the contract. He responded to successive requests, made changes to configurations that had already been delivered, and handled repeated back-and-forths on items that had nevertheless been validated in advance. We responded to every request, including well beyond the project’s official close. Regarding the issues reported: our position has always been clear. We fix bugs that come from improper operation. However, some of the problems you reported were caused by changes you made on your side to configurations that had already been delivered. Others were the result of functional limitations tied to configuration choices that you had approved. Regarding responsiveness: we replied to every email, sometimes the same day, despite a particularly high volume of requests and a tone that deteriorated over the weeks. Finally, we note that as early as December 12, 2025, in an email, you explicitly told us you would share a negative experience if your requests weren’t met. This review is consistent with that stance, which helps put the content in a different perspective. We carried out this project with seriousness and commitment. We can’t please everyone, and we accept that. But a successful project is built together, and in this line of work, reassessing things never goes in only one direction. Sincerely,
