Great platform and I’m really happy with the fast delivery of beautiful books.
Unfortunately, my book arrived damaged, but I had a new copy within a week. I’m really happy with the book itself, though—great photos of great projects. It’s definitely an eye-catcher on my bookshelf.

In November 2024, I ordered four books from HOOG Design. Only one was delivered. After I reached out myself, it turned out the other titles were pre-orders—something that wasn’t clearly stated at checkout. HOOG later acknowledged this as well. For the remaining books, I received clear commitments: - Exclusive Garden Design 04, March 26, 2025 - The Next Generation 02, end of June 2025 - Exclusive Kitchen Design 02, end of June 2025 None of these agreements were honored. The books arrived months late, and Exclusive Kitchen Design 02 still hasn’t been delivered—half a year after the promised date. What makes this especially troubling is the lack of communication, consistently. In the space of a year, HOOG never once contacted me proactively. Every time I called and challenged this with their staff, they admitted it wasn’t handled properly and said it would be addressed internally. In reality, I never received any follow-up. Even my last email went unanswered. In the meantime, I continue to receive marketing emails with “great deals,” often even cheaper than what I paid more than a year ago—while an order that I’ve already paid for still hasn’t been completed. For me, this is the final straw: I’m canceling the outstanding book (Exclusive Kitchen Design 02) and I expect a full refund. I don’t want to do business with a company that treats paying customers this way. I genuinely order everything online and I understand that sometimes things can go wrong. That happens. But what’s happened here isn’t a one-off: a year of stress, repeated calls and emails, and consistent non-communication toward a customer who already paid. To me, this doesn’t feel like a mistake—it feels like deliberate, poor service.
We placed an order for the book bundle as part of a special promotion. We received 3 of the 4 books—though we also had to contact you several times before you sent them. We’ve been waiting since July for book four. We’ve reached out multiple times, but we’re never called back. UPDATE: In the meantime, we’ve been in touch with HOOG, and they’ve resolved it excellently!

I’m really a fan of HOOGdesign. It’s the place where I keep finding home inspiration again and again—whether I’m looking for ideas for the interior, the exterior, or the garden. I ordered a book and only realized it was a preorder after I’d already paid. Customer service is just careless, and the communication leaves a lot to be desired. I will never order from here again—it cost me an extraordinary amount of frustration.
