It's obvious that you only eat pizza in New York - as it says on your oh-so-cool website 🫠 PS: on mobile, your website displays a lot of things crooked and skewed

You have helped the city of Leipzig to get a new logo that is hard to beat in terms of ugliness, by the way, as is normal these days, without any input from the citizens of Leipzig. 700,000, or in other words, the annual tax revenue of around 7,300 Leipzig dog owners (currently still €96 per 1st dog per year, soon to be increased to approx. 150%) was wasted by the city fathers and mothers (?) on a measure that the city needed as urgently as a hole in the head... Accepting such orders at all in times of empty city coffers speaks for itself. To turn a logo [originally] with the traditional colors of the city and a proud Leipzig lion into such an indictment of poverty...respect!!! Colorless, loveless and pointless became the label of a city that has said goodbye to its citizens economically, but also morally and spiritually. Yikes...

You really have to pay tribute to the Edenspiekermann agency - or should we say admiration for their remarkable negotiating skills? In the end, the estimated 400,000 euros became an impressive 700,000 euros. And for what? For a logo that even the untrained eye can recognize a certain... let's call it a "creative relationship" to the Peugeot lion that has adorned cars since 2010. Certainly, there are differences - after all, it is a different lion. Quasi. The font also shines through its characteristic of being, well, a font. Nothing that takes your breath away, but still: letters. Legible. Functional. Let's summarize: 300,000 euros in cost overruns for a big cat that, with a little imagination, can also be admired in the automotive industry, garnished with typographic mediocrity. That's what I call strategic skill - at least from the agency's point of view.

Leipzig's logo is a disgrace. Primary school children could have done better than that for a bar of chocolate!

That's it now, really? When commissioned to design a logo! That? And then to charge for the little picture made of bent paper clips is the height of cheek. The decimal point in the fee should be 5 places forward.

I can only agree with the previous speakers. As a Leipzig resident, it pains me that this doodle is supposed to stand for Leipzig.

The design of Leipzig's city logo has not turned out well.
