Our experience with the Deutsches Weininstitut has been extremely disappointing from a professional standpoint. Several wineries we negotiated with were dissatisfied simply because we did not agree to their proposed terms. Instead of clarifying the situation or attempting to contact us directly, the Deutsches Weininstitut placed us on a so-called “black list” without any prior communication, verification, or opportunity for us to explain the circumstances. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend relying on this institution for objective or responsible support in the wine industry.
