As a publisher, we have been a contractual partner of ciando with e-books for over ten years. Unfortunately, the payment behavior is inadequate (credit notes are transferred weeks late after several reminders). The phone is rarely answered and there is hardly any response to e-mails. E-books were made available to customers on the market via Ciando (Stein Group), but invoicing and credit notes to the publisher were slow. Ciando used to be reliable and positioned itself well on the market. Unfortunately, this no longer seems to be the case. The billing of e-book usage and the resulting credit notes are not made in accordance with the contract within the agreed period.

Ciando was once reliable and positioned itself well in the market. Unfortunately, this no longer seems to be the case.

I manage the publishing house. As a small publishing house, two other employees are entrusted with the bookkeeping tasks.
For over ten years, all our e-books have been used by all users across all platforms.
We have met all our expectations and always meet our payment obligations with the annual fee on time.
In the beginning, it worked well between the Ciando staff and our publishing house and invoicing was always prompt.
He should fulfill his obligation and pay promptly, i.e. in accordance with the contract, and transfer the credit note.

I cannot delete/cancel my account. My experience has been that it is very difficult here. My impression is also that LinkedIn is similar to Facebook.

Privacy is written very small on LinkedIn. I googled myself again and discovered a company under my name, at my address and on my website. A company whose activity already disturbs me because of my personal attitude. Employees has the enterprise also and one could take over the side if one is the enterprise. The company does not exist and I myself also have no company but am only a private person. LinkedIn was contacted because I wanted to know who created this profile. Answer: they have sources, they can't reveal more. I can't take the wrong profile either, because there is no personal data stored on it. First name, last name, website and full address were visible, so those are not personal data, is interesting. At least they blocked the profile very quickly. Out of interest checked with the data protection officer in Germany, they translated my request and filed a complaint in Ireland (very good service). After a while a Conor Bowe, the privacy officer of LinkedIn got in touch and sent me exactly the same info. No personal data, no connection with me as a person. Therefore I cannot take over the profile. I only wish that someone would create an embarrassing company page for Conor Bowe at LinkedIn, because names and such are no personal data for LinkedIn.

The guidelines are a joke, ruzzic propaganda is not deleted despite being reported.
