Billing issue not resolved after account switch On September 9, 2024, I paid Belacom €417.60 for an annual ActivCampaign subscription (order no. 14989). In February 2025, my account was automatically transferred to ActiveCampaign without my request, and I started being billed directly at $61/month for their services. Belacom then refunded a renewal that was taken in September 2025, but the prorated amount for the unused period between February and September 2025 was never corrected, despite several follow-ups and documented exchanges with ActiveCampaign. It’s a confusing process and a regrettable lack of responsiveness for a partner company of a major international service.

We signed a contract with this company, but it took eight months for the setup to finally be completed. During all that time, we couldn’t use the platform, yet we still had to pay the subscription for nothing. One very competent technician—though completely overwhelmed—was handling our case. Despite our many follow-ups to express our dissatisfaction, the company never seems to reflect on what went wrong: they always have a canned answer and refuse to take responsibility for their mistakes. By comparison, platforms like Mailchimp or Mailjet are far more effective and offer much more responsive, professional support.
