Description

Flutter app development for personnel planning and shift allocation for ship calls

For Sartori & Berger, we developed an app for personnel planning and shift allocation for ship calls. The app enables users to manage their assigned ship calls, view information on planned calls and exchange important messages via an integrated messaging service.

The project involved creating a comprehensive concept including flowcharts, developing a prototype for testing and creating the UI design. The technical implementation was carried out in Flutter.

Challenge

Sartori & Berger was faced with the challenge of finding an efficient solution for the complex personnel planning and shift allocation for ship calls.

The app had to take into account a large number of variables and requirements in order to ensure optimal planning and communication. In addition, the solution had to be intuitive and user-friendly to enable quick familiarization and acceptance by users.

Solution

We first developed a detailed concept that included flowcharts to visualize the processes and an appealing UI design. A prototype was created to test and optimize the design and functionality. The technical implementation was carried out in Flutter to ensure a cross-platform and high-performance application.

The app offers an intuitive user interface where users can manage their ship calls, view information and exchange messages.
